6 ημέρες πριν · Separate patient consent for treatment and payment for health care services. Informed consent from a patient to provide any treatment, procedure, examination or other direct health care services shall be obtained separately from such patient’s consent to pay for the services.
Patients and other qualified persons have a right to access patient information under Section 18 of the Public Health Law. Section 18 contains the procedures for making records available and the conditions under which a provider can deny access.
