While downloading, are there any fun offline games to play so i dont mess with my download speed? i already have Rome 2. but i was thinking something with good replayability, but not as slow as Rome 2, i can only play it when i feel sophisticated or like i need a sword for some reason.
16 Οκτ 2021 · I prefer games with solo campaigns or that can be played offline since I have janky internet connectivity living out in the country, so most massively multiplayer games are OOTQ because of that. Other than that though, I am pretty open to most genres of games since I have been playing since the days of Pong and paddles before even joysticks were a thing.

Find the newest save data from the offline account and transfer it to your original account. Use the 'date modified' to differentiate the accounts. Use your backup folder if anything goes wrong to restore your original save data.
12 Ιουν 2015 · As far as I know, all Steam games must be launched once through Steam before they can be played offline. A long time ago someone told me you could only play for two weeks offline before being required to connect briefly, then you could go back to playing offline. I've never tested this though.
23 Σεπ 2024 · Some games have issues with saved games when offline. You won't be able to look at the game page to find these. You'll only find those by searching the game's discussions. That being said, if you like Hollow Knight, that can take you down a path where the majority of games will work offline. Try using the Steam search function by doing this:
4 Οκτ 2023 · Please add some form of offline support for the game, especially for Steam Deckers. Tony Hawk Skater was released with always-online which is just massively dumb. Don't do the same requirement for the other Acti-Blizz games that are coming to Steam. At least support some kind of offline mode.

For example: I like to play Street Fighter online, but I do not want to play Dark Souls online (because getting invaded all the time kind of annoys me). 24 Ιουλ 2023 · Offline Mode allows you to "PLAY GAMES" through Steam without having an active connection to the Steam Network. This feature is useful when you have limited or no internet access. (It does not cut off access to the store, forums etc if you have internet access).
