The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) and the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) administer four waiver programs for older adults and people who have disabilities who meet a nursing facility level of care. The four programs are listed below with links to the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) Rule about the program.
1 Ιαν 2024 · Programs which provide HCBS include the assisted living waiver, the individual options waiver, the level one waiver, the MyCare Ohio waiver, the Ohio home care waiver, pre-admission screening system providing options and resources today (PASSPORT), and the self-empowered life funding waiver.
The MyCare Ohio Waiver is a special program offered in 29 Ohio counties. It combines Medicare and Medicaid benefits. Individuals receive services through a MyCare Ohio managed care plan. Eligibility. Have a nursing facility LOC. Aged 18-64 with a physical disability or aged 65 or older. Eligible for Medicare parts A, B, and D.
