Palm Jumeirah is part of the Palm Islands, a complex of three palm-shaped islands that should have been built in Dubai in the first decade of the 2000s. The second island is called Palm Jebel Ali and is located in a peripheral area of Dubai. This too is a palm-shaped archipelago, very similar to Palm Jumeirah but almost 50% larger.
Probably the world's biggest artificially created island which houses some of the most expensive & lavish residences with private beaches. The famous Palm Atlantis hotel is also located on the Palm Jumeirah & provides a panoramic view of the sea. One should take a ride on the Palm Jumeirah monorail to enjoy the view.
