Purpose: This activity demonstrates what can go wrong in communication: poor listening, lack of feedback, different contexts/backgrounds and perceptions. Directions: Lead into this exercise by asking folks if they think communication is easy. Tell them “let’s see.” Give each learner a piece of paper and then read the directions to them.
Effective communication combines two major elements: active listening and creating a clear message. We have to listen if we are going to craft a coherent and professional message. How do we know if the messages we are sending are being received and interpreted in the way we intended?
5 Απρ 2010 · Follow the tutor’s instructions to fold and cut a paper. What You Need. One sheet of A4 paper for everyone; One scissor for each delegate. Setup. Distribute the papers and scissors to all delegates. Explain to delegates that you are about to give them instructions and they must follow these instructions as given to them.
Give one sheet of standard-sized paper (A4) to each participant. Tell your students that they are not allowed to look at the paper or ask any clarifying questions. Give the group your instructions on how to fold the paper into the origami shape of your choice.
