Carbon dioxide (CO2) requiring process that uses light energy (photons) and water (H2O) to produce organic macromolecules (glucose). Where does photosynthesis take place? Pores in a plant’s...
10 Ιαν 2013 · Photosynthesis involves two main stages - the light reactions where light energy is converted to chemical energy stored in ATP and NADPH, and the Calvin cycle where carbon dioxide and this chemical energy are used to produce sugars like glucose.
9 Αυγ 2017 · Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, some bacteria, use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar, which cellular respiration converts into ATP, the "fuel" used by all living things. The conversion of unusable sunlight energy into usable chemical energy, is associated with the actions of the green pigment chlorophyll.
Powerpoint presentations on a huge range of photosynthesis topics. Ideal for use in the classroom, student learning or general knowledge. Great for KS1 KS2 KS3 KS4 and post 16 A level lessonplans, and more.
The complementary process, during which plants, thanks to sunlight, absorb carbon dioxide, produce organic matter and expel oxygen to the atmosphere, is called photosynthesis. The perfect lesson for kids!
1 Photosynthesis Engage: We all know plants grow, create a sketch or model showing what plants NEED to grow. Guided Notes 2 What type of organisms can photosynthesize?
