6 Ιουλ 2018 · A phylogenetic tree constructed from the mitogenomes indicated that all sampled precontact dogs (PCDs) (from time frames spanning ~9000 years) formed a monophyletic group within dog haplogroup A (Fig. 1B and figs. S3 and S6).
A phylogenetic tree constructed from the mitogenomes indicated that all sampled pre-contact dogs (spanning ~9,000 years) formed a monophyletic group within dog haplogroup A (Fig. 1b; Fig. S3; Fig. S6), which we refer to as pre-contact dogs (PCD).

1 Ιαν 2001 · This multiauthor book comprises comprehensive reviews on all aspects of dog genetics. The first 5 of its 19 chapters deal with systematics, phylogeny, domestication and single-gene traits.
Phylogenetic analysis separated several breeds with ancient origins from the remaining breeds with modern European origins. We identified four genetic clusters, which predominantly contained breeds with similar geographic origin, morphology, or role in human activities.
