It is a security issue. If you look at the console in the browser it throws a CORS violation which happens when a website tries to communicate with a different domain name it isn't allowed to. This is meant to keep websites from getting hacked and transmitting your data to rogue sites.

I just didn't have the money to buy a PS on top of everything else until now and always bought an Xbox because I'm a big Halo fan. I created a Playstation ID and everything online, but it has never been signed into a console. I decided towards the end of last gen that I really wanted to try Playstation so I patiently waited for the PS5.
I'm having this issue as well, can't log into PS Remote Play or through Playstation's website itself on my PC, yet I can log in on my phone and my connection on PS5 is working just fine. I've tried Opera GX and Chrome and neither works.

You know it's funny is today PlayStation support was supposed to be open but funny thing is they're closed on Mondays and on top of it you can't get a refund through the support page honestly I'm not surprised that microsoft/xbox is actually doing better than PlayStation is.
