18 Δεκ 2007 · The fuel pump on the 914 is very reliable. You should be able to determine if your pump works by turning on the ignition and listening for a buzzing noise lasting for 1 - 2 seconds. If no buzzing is heard, most likely the pump is not getting power.

Fuel Injection component values for D-Jet systems should be verified at the ECU connector, by unplugging the 25 pole connector housing from the ECU and using an multimeter at various terminals.

Connect fuel pressure tester in line between fuel pump and fuel supply lines. Remove injectors and cold start injector valve. Place pan under all injectors, to catch fuel being discharged.
