19 Οκτ 2020 · Poseidon was the son of Cronus, the king of the Titan gods, and his sister and wife Rhea. Cronus swallowed each of his children shortly after their birth to ensure that none could ever grow to take his position for themselves.

Poseidon was the husband of Amphitrite, a Nereid, and their union produced four children including Triton, who was half-human, half-fish. Amphitrite was known for her beauty and serene nature.

His mother is called Rhea and she is/was the queen of the Titans. When he was young, he was eaten by his father, Cronos, king of the Titans but luckily his younger brother, Zeus saved him, Hades , Hestia, Hera and Dementer.
