11 Ιουλ 2020 · So can Pot player and do other more things VLC can't. cereberus, m aybe in the past VLC had that advantage with codecs that made it popular, but right now it's only it's name that makes it popular. That is simple truth. Time when there was a problem with codecs is long gone. All modern players include all necessary codecs nowadays.
21 Αυγ 2019 · strange icon for Pot player. Pot Player's normal Icon is a yellow square. The screen shot shows a little triangle. mp4s do open with Pot Player but I'd like to restore the original icon. That is the default icon. If you want too change it to the old one try this in Preferences.

6 Αυγ 2020 · None of the detections relates to PotPlayer. 1) Folder created by HDPack - a utility to stream movies and nothing to do with PotPlayer or codecs installed by PotPlayer. 2) Third Party DNS Cache utility. 3) Custom registry enrty added by me to block a file from running. So PotPlayer is not detected as adware.
