27 Οκτ 2012 · Hi AmandaS, Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community. When you press the Print screen key, the screen shot is usually copied to Windows Clipboard in operating systems like Windows Vista.

I have used the option "Prtscn" a number of times, and as of yet I have not found where in my PC files those pictures are stored. Does anyone know where I can start looking? I am using Vista Home
11 Μαΐ 2016 · ALT + PrintScreen - Open Paint and paste the image from clipboard. WinKey + PrintScreen -This saves teh screenshot to a PNG file in Pictures\Screenshots folder. 13 Μαρ 2016 · It would be much easier to change the snaggit hotkey than the printscreen key. In snaggit preferences>hot keys>choose a different hot key. You would have to find what is using printscreen on win 10 and edit the registry to have that app use a different key combo

3 Αυγ 2023 · If Fn + Printscreen used to take a screenshot, try pressing the print screen key on its own If that works, try pressing Fn + Esc to release the function lock. 2 If you press the Windows Key + Print Screen, that should take a screenshot and put it in the Screenshots folder and also on the clipboard so you can paste it into a document.
14 Ιουλ 2010 · They are on the clipboard. So you paste them into a paint program (type mspaint in Start - All Programs - Accessories - Run) or a word processor (Start - All Programs - Accessories - Wordpad).
