The PS2 Bios on the top (the mediafire link) is linked to malware. If you care enough to do a Virustotal scan, you may end up seeing that it's filled with malware. To deal with this malware, take out the hard drive (or SSD) and just buy a new one.

20 Οκτ 2010 · This is a tool for dumping information from Playstation2, including bios, dvdplayer rom, non-volatile memory, etc. This is the BIN version of the BIOS Dumper (all files provided separately). In addition, v1 of the tool is included (dumpbios-mass.elf) in case you are having trouble with the new version. Attached Files.

Full installer has the DirectX web installer bundled, web installer optionally downloads it from the internet, and binary is only the program with the plugins.
15 Ιαν 2023 · As an example Play! doesn't need an external PS2 BIOS to work. PCSX2 needs a PCSX BIOS folder. The Core Info section says to visit this link for more information. Most emulators that require a BIOS will usually say (!) Missing/Found, Required/Optional: in the firmware section and then will mention the BIOS that the emulator needs to function.
16 Αυγ 2022 · Config > Plugins/Bios selector. scroll down to BIOS search paths and select wherever you placed the bios. I noticed there was no bios folder for pcsx2 so i just made one and put the bios in there. I installed Emudeck, said I needed a Bios when I went to open a game.
22 Δεκ 2020 · Yes, bios are specific to PS2 consoles. But like anything else, they can be dumped and shared. You can use almost any PS2 bios with PCSX2. The only one the developers suggest not use is the very first one.

15 Ιουλ 2021 · this has to do with permission problem. try installing pcsx2 in c:\pcsx2, and in portable mode. CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X. Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS. GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. RAM : 16 Go.
23 Μαΐ 2023 · Open Emudeck. Select "More Info" on the Bios Checker. Select Check Again. The Bios files checker will state “PlayStation 2 bios detected!”. Step 3: Download Roms to your Steam Deck. Do a google search on your steam deck, there are tons of links about what websites to get Roms from.
