A PS4 controller tbh when used with a hacked PS2 (not all games work with it though). I wish there was a hack to make OPL load when PS2 is turned on since you still need a regular PS2 controller to launch it. Sony PS2 controllers will always be the best.
22 Ιαν 2022 · A PS2 controller shouldn't be more than $35. $80 is about $60 more dollars than I would pay for a PS2 controller. Thankfully I don't think there are nearly as many counterfeit controllers for PS2 compared to PS3. If it's a third party they should be relatively easy to identify.
21 Σεπ 2021 · Hi, I recently bought an adapter for my ps2 controller so that I can play my ps3 games on RPCS3. But the problem is even though all the other keys can be mapped, The dpad is giving me problems as it is acting as my left joystick and doesnt allow me to use it.
27 Φεβ 2023 · If you are using a native PS3 controller, nothing beats dshidmini, but if you are using a PS2 controller via ps3 converter, you have only one choice truly, ie. scpserver with profile manager support. I've been using my ps2 controller on Red Dead Redemption 2! It'll work great.
7 Φεβ 2022 · For some reason, when I press the D-pad or move the left analog stick in controller configuration, it registers as Y-axis. And when I move the right analog stick, it registers as the face buttons. Like so: Device / PC Control / PS2 Control DX Generic USB Joystick / Y-axis - / D-Pad Up DX Generic USB Joystick / Y-axis - / L-Stick Up
25 Απρ 2023 · There are a few possible solutions to your issue. First, make sure that your Xbox Series S controller is properly configured in PCSX2. Go to the "Config" menu, select "Controllers (PAD)", and then select "Plugin Settings". From there, make sure that "XInput" is selected as the controller type and that the buttons are properly mapped.
1 Ιουν 2020 · I would say there are three causes of drift. a dirty/clogged analog cap/controller - to fix, just take apart and clean the plastic stuff the controller is made of. you can usually see this one without taking it apart, the faulty stick will be tipped over a bit compared to the other. in your case your right stick will be tilted slightly left.
28 Ιουλ 2021 · The original sony controller is the best. Most durable by far and I've gone through a lot of cheap PS2 controllers that break after a month. You're either going to have to deal with it and adapt, or you could try a converter, but a PS4 controller will be missing some features of the PS2 controller so I don't really recommend that.
Logitech Wireless Action Controller ($15-$30, depending on whether receiver is included) There are two models, a big one and a small one. If you're unable to find either in person go with the small one. Great on battery life, feel great in hands, best alternative to actual PS2 controllers.
23 Νοε 2017 · I recently bought a PS2 controller, just so I could have pressure sensitive buttons for MGS2 and 3. I also bought a "P2 CONTROLLER TO P3/PC SYSTEM CONBERT - HIGH EFFICIENT CON VERT CABLE" for it, which "CONBERT"s it to USB. But the pressure sensitive buttons don't work on Lilypad, and the Analog button brings up the Windows Game Bar.
