That RBCD ammo sure put on a show with those water jugs, but the lack of penetration is a bit concerning for self-defense. Personally, I always prioritize rounds that get enough penetration.
Has anyone heard of this ammo or used it? The website claims that this is some serious stuff (because that's a new claim). I have a block of ballistics gel and I'm trying to decide if it is worth the effort to do a review on the ammo.
13 Αυγ 2012 · I am looking to try a frangible ammo. The specs I have read on RBCD are wild. My lgs owner Rob swears by this ammo. He says the Nashville police use it with great results. I would be using this ammo in 45acp, 357sig and 9mm.
21 Νοε 2001 · 9mm RBCD Performance Plus Ammo. Has anybody used RBCD ammo? I have a ballistic table for their various calibers, and some of the numbers are pretty provocative. For example, the 9mm Luger 60 gr TFSP bullet has 2010 fps and 539 Ft Lbs at the muzzle from a 4" barrel.
