復原臥式 （英語： recovery position），或稱 復原體位 、 復甦姿勢 等，是 急救 裡一系列側臥或側伏臥的姿勢，多用於失去意識但仍有 呼吸 的傷患者。 當一個人的 格拉斯哥昏迷指數 為8或以下，即可稱為「失去意識」或「昏迷」，失去意識者如果處於仰臥姿勢（即背著地，臉朝天），他的氣道就有可能無法如有意識的人一樣保持暢通。 [1] 氣道一旦被阻塞，空氣即無法進入 肺部，窒礙 氣體交換 的進行，導致 缺氧 並危及生命。 每年很多人本身因為非致命的原因失去意識，但卻因為暈倒後引起的氣道阻塞而喪命。 [2][3] 很多原因會令人失去意識，由 中暑 、 血糖 過低、 酒精中毒 （醉酒）、 一氧化碳 中毒、 中風 、 癲癇 、 創傷 到嚴重出血都有可能 [4]。

上面提到的复苏体位（Recovery Position）实际上是“复苏后”的体位，即患者呼吸心跳突然停止，经心肺脑复苏后患者呼吸心跳恢复但神志尚未恢复，等待进一步救援时采取的安全姿势。
