Royal Delft, founded in 1653, is the last remaining pottery factory from the 17th century in Delft that still makes Delft Blue according to age-old traditions. During a visit to Royal Delft Museum, in addition to the factory, you will also discover the museum rooms with an extensive historical and modern collection of Delft Blue.
Iconic Delft Blue. The Royal Dutch Delftware Manufactory “De Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles / Royal Delft” established in 1653, is the last remaining Delftware factory from the 17th century. Here, the world renowned Royal Delftware is still entirely hand-painted according to centuries-old tradition.
Royal Delft’s painters, moldmakers and potters have been creating the iconic Delft Blue pottery for many years. Discover the unique production process, and marvel at the collection of historic Delft Blue pottery produced by the 32 factories in Delft in the 17th and 18th centuries.
Royal Delft is the only remaining earthenware factory from the 17th century where the world-famous Delft Blue ceramics are still made. You can see the painters performing their craft with the same passion and vitality in accordance with centuries-old traditions.
