25 Οκτ 2012 · Aside from a number of Ruger revolvers (single and double action, with another 6" Security Six soon to join the family) and a couple of 10-22's and standard .22 pistols, we have my son's P89 and my P97DC and love them both, so the P91 will fit right in.
The Ruger P series is a line of centerfire semi-automatic pistols made by Sturm, Ruger & Company produced from 1985 to 2013. The P-series pistols were designed for military, police, civilian and recreational use.
8 Απρ 2023 · You're right, the P91 was only produced for 3 years (about 25,000 per year/75,000 total, IIRC). Plus, Ruger has never seemed to like promoting cartridges associated with competitors; 40 caliber P-series barrels were marked ".40 AUTO" rather than .40 S&W, and recently they dropped that chambering entirely.

14 Μαρ 2016 · Both pistols are identical except the 1992 model has the sides of the slide polished in the area where the name is rolled, and the newer one is left in a matte finish. I would like to find a P89x, but it has an extra barrel and spring for .30 Luger, not .30 carbine.
