11 Φεβ 2018 · Marlin Camp 9 vs. Ruger PC Carbine. With the new Ruger PC carbine entering the market, I am considering trading my Marlin Camp 9 to get one of these Glock compatible carbines. I would like to hear from anyone who has range tested both models to confirm which one is more accurate.
31 Μαρ 2019 · Now that Ruger has re released their excellent PC9, I have been considering getting one because of the increased reliability, better serviceability, parts availability, lifetime warranty, and overall ruggedness.. the marlin is a sweet rifle, but I doubt is built anywhere nearly as stoutly as the Camp 9..
13 Δεκ 2021 · Until someone makes an adaptor for 3rd generation S&W mags for the PCC (which is not likely), I'll still be on the hunt for a camp 9. The general concept of a 9mm carbine to augment a 9mm sidearm is a good one. But it loses a lot of appeal if your sidearm and carbine don't share the same mags.
18 Φεβ 2018 · I love my Marlin Camp 9 Carbine. Bought it new during the over 10 round magazine ban years, because I owned a S&W 5906 and had plenty of magazines. Have never had a problem with it, accuracy is fine, ammo is cheap, mags are available and affordable. Have used mine in PCC shooting competition, and it runs great.

Over the years, the most quality time I have spent with a 9mm pistol carbine was with the Marlin Camp 9, which took Smith & Wesson Model 59 magazines.

25 Σεπ 2019 · The PC Carbine has been well received as it has a retro Marlin Camp 9 rifle feel but updated for modern shooters. The traditional rifle ergonomics was a bit of a breath of fresh air amidst a cacophony of AR-style 9mm pistols and rifles.
