The Bullseye Airgun Club in Louisiana used to have a huge contingent of shooters who shot 48s and 52s in field target competition. All were .177, of course.

The RWS 52 is the action of the RWS 48 dressed up in a Monte Carlo beech stock (one inch longer) with a sculpted cheekpiece. For better control, they've added checkering to the grip and forearm. The changes in the stock configuration make an already-great gun even better.
