16 Μαΐ 2012 · I have a 2000 Saab 9-3 Turbo Convertible and had top problems several months after I purchased it 2 years ago. First, if your led read out on your radio/stereo panel says "Soft Top Failure" chances are the hydraulic fluid that feeds the motor is probably low or out.
There are quite a few problems that can cause a convertible top to stop working. The first step is to verify that the switch is sending the correct 12v signal to the motor. Find the plug and verify 12v to the motor with the switch in the up and down position on the 2 different wires.
