Saints Row 2 is a 2008 action-adventure game developed by Volition and published by THQ. It is the sequel to 2006's Saints Row and the second installment in the Saints Row series. Sadly, Volition and Deep Silver prioritized the SR2022 Reboot over SR2, and only silence followed the SR2 Rerelease project.
This is the first title in the series to be released for Windows and PlayStation, as Saints Row wasn't released on either platform. On 2014-05-31, the Gamespy servers were shut down, breaking official online multiplayer and co-op on PC and PS3.
