The park offers swimming beaches, fishing, crabbing, hiking, wildlife viewing, nature center, picnicking, marina store, and boat rentals. The adjacent Corcoran Woods forest preserve includes four miles (6.4 km) of hiking trails.
The park’s one mile sandy beach provides plenty of room for enjoying a variety of beach activities. However, please be aware of the following: Sandy Point State Park must adhere to statewide policies adopted by the Maryland Park Service regarding ALCOHOL, METAL DETECTING, PETS, DRONE USAGE.
Park admission is $5 per person on weekends and holidays and $4 per person on weekdays. One of the beaches in Annapolis & Anne Arundel County since 1952, Sandy Point State Park has been a haven for nature lovers, beach-goers, and fishermen.
