Serving the unincorporated County and the Cities of Carlsbad, Del Mar, Encinitas, San Diego, Santee and Solana Beach. The County of San Diego operates three animal shelters -- in Bonita, San Diego and Carlsbad. All are open to the public 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
1 Αυγ 2023 · The City of San Diego coordinates animal services operations with San Diego Humane Society (SDHS), which serves as its primary animal control agency. Services provided include dog licensing, lost and found, adoptions, microchipping, spay/neuter, vaccination clinics, educational programs, and cruelty reports.
