18 Σεπ 2024 · The restaurants in Sims 4 don’t work for dates anymore. They work if my Sim just goes when not on a date, but when someone asks them on a date to a restaurant the staff is there but there is no option to request a table.

After this new update, I can't enter CAS to make new Sims, change outfits, or plan outfits. I have to completely turn my PC off to get out of the loading screen. My Sims have random negative mood interactions and I can't enter build mode. I can't play the game at all, what a disappointment 😞.

Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old; Repair the game; Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
A lot of script mods broke with the last patch - plus it introduced a bug where apparently sims with high singing skill lose interactions, unrelated to mods. After a game update, it’s always best to test without any mods or cc - not even better exceptions - and then gradually add things back in, continuing to test as you go.
