11 Φεβ 2023 · Sadly, the snapdrop server fails quite often and there isno automatic restart implemented. This is a known issue and IMO one of themost annoying things about Snapdrop. Sadly the creator of Snapdrop did not react to any of my pull requests so I decided to advance the project myself and forked it into PairDrop.
10 Φεβ 2023 · Pairdrop is a fork of Snapdrop with some improvements. Snapdrop says to use PairDrop.net and the app itself allows you to connect to PairDrop instead. I thought it was the same thing, I didn't know SnapDrop had been having problems. Anyway, it works like a charm.

17 Ιαν 2023 · Since last week i have been looking for easiest (less steps and clicks) ways to share files cross platform (android/Samsung and windows pc) with the highest speed possible. Specific need was without internet (like wifi direct)and found a few in github and play store which have cross platform clients.
17 Μαΐ 2021 · yes, only the new "Scan Text" Option pops up. it looks like shortcut opens in that internal browser preview window (where's a open in safari button in the lower right corner). if i open snapdrop regulary in safari and copy a image in the clipboard i can see the past option in the text field.

1 Απρ 2023 · If Edge isnt your browser of choice, then there are alternatives, like Chromes send to device feature. Edge also has this. AirDrop is a fantastic feature and works seamlessly which im very envious of. There are similar features in Windows and Android, but they aren't cross platform which is a damn shame. Thanks.

29 Μαρ 2021 · These quick share features are mostly useless unless they work with Apple devices. Having an Android in the states there are very few people I would share with that have an Android. Also Air drop works with Mac and iPad. So it's the better option by far of the 3. 0. Award.
31 Οκτ 2021 · The by far best solution for this is https://snapdrop.net. Just open the website on both devices, then you can instantly share any file and text input. I use it all the time between Linux and the iPhone. I know this is old, but decided to throw in my solution.
