One vehicle is included with the reservation, and the other is $15 per night, unless it is towed into the park upon check-in. Campsites 214-222 are double hookup sites and may have two RVs or two trailers on a site, not to exceed four licensed vehicles per site. An extra vehicle fee of $15 applies to each vehicle. 76.
South Carlsbad State Beach Campground is at South Carlsbad Beach, known for its long expanses of warm sand and many restful, sunny days. South Carlsbad is 3 miles from the city of Carlsbad, stretching along the coast from Palomar Airport Avenue to La Costa Avenue.
South Carlsbad State Beach comprises two main areas: the North End and The South End. The park contains 215 campsites, with sites for RVs and tents. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring, and some offer water and electrical hookups. Pad types are a mix of dirt and paved pads.
