The Straz Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts venue in Tampa, Florida, United States. It opened in July 1987 as the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, and was renamed in 2009. [1]
Tampa's David A. Straz Jr. Center aka the Straz Center is an multi-storey performing arts complex boasting six theater spaces, two of which seat over 1000 people each. The largest of these - the 26140-seat Carol Morsani Hall - is the centers premiere venue, playing host to Broadway tours and concerts each month.
