The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is a motorcycle rally held annually in Sturgis, South Dakota, and the surrounding Black Hills region of the United States. [2] [3] It began in 1938 by a group of Indian Motorcycle riders and was originally held for stunts and races.
The C & NW Historic Depot is located in Sturgis, South Dakota off of 3 St. It is a fire-kiln brick building that has seen better days. Although the building is falling apart and heavily sprayed with graffiti, it is still beautiful and part of Sturgis’s history.

Sturgis South Dakota Brick Placement. Sturgis gets about 500,000 bikers to their rally in August. To raise money the city sells bricks that you can place a message on. These bricks are then put on the main street sidewalk, as seen below.
