What can I borrow, and for how long? What can I borrow? How long can I borrow? Can they be renewed? How many items can I borrow? Students can check out up to 100 items at a time.

Penfield Library was a part of the Academic Commons built between 1961 and 1969. It was part of a construction project that included Mahar, Lanigan, Culkin and Tyler Halls. Namesake. Opened in 1968, the library’s namesake is Lida S. Penfield, a mainstay during her time at SUNY Oswego.
