9 Νοε 2014 · Table of Contents is the correct form. Leaving off the 's' is simply a typo or a mistake. The contents of something refer to what the thing contains, like the contents of a jar, or a book. You wouldn't say the 'content of a jar'. When used as singular, the meaning is more abstract, eg. 'the content of one's character', rather like it's value.

It therefore cannot be assumed that the reader will read the paragraph with the first use of the acronym, so it seems sensible and courteous to put the acronym definition in the table of contents ...
The table has a mix of fragments and full sentences. I'm concerned that if I have full stops after the sentences and none after the fragments it will look inconsistent to the reader.
19 Απρ 2011 · I think it's the first one (also around you'll see it's the used one), but don't use the third one because it will look bad, no matter the type of table. There are some rules, anyway, about what you can capitalize and what not, i.e. no function words (but, not, of). Check here (PDF).
