18 Σεπ 2020 · When districts use both AR and myON, students can now discover and access myON digital books within AR. Once they’ve finished reading, they can then easily launch the associated Reading Practice Quiz .
With Accelerated Reader, students read widely to build word recognition and language comprehension skills. Reading quizzes monitor overall comprehension, while literacy skills and vocabulary quizzes connect to skill-based classroom instruction.

Accelerated Reader (AR) is a computer-based reading program designed to promote and enhance reading skills among students of all ages. Developed by Renaissance Learning, AR provides a vast collection of leveled books across various genres, allowing students to select texts that match their individual reading abilities and interests.
Follow these steps to take a quiz on a book. On the Home page, select Accelerated Reader. If you are in more than one Accelerated Reader class, choose the name of the class that you want to take a quiz for; then, select Done.
If you decide not to allow quizzing from home, the most effective way to prevent students from quizzing at home is to restrict where students can take quizzes by setting IP restrictions. This is strongly recommended by Renaissance.
