A still from Richard Teschner’s 1935 puppet theater production Die Lebens-Uhr, “The Life Clock.” The still image shows Teschner’s unusual porthole-shaped viewer, giving the audience the impression they are viewing the production through a camera lens ringed by astrological signs.
Inspired by the Javanese [wayang] golek, Teschner created several delicate [rod puppets], 30 to 40 centimetres high. These puppets were beautifully decorated and dressed in sarongs made of materials of the Wiener Werkstätte and inspired by Viennese Art Nouveau.

The Life Clock is a concept by Bertrand Planes that is marked in sevens up to eighty-four, with a mechanism slowed down 61,320 times. Each number represents a year, and a full rotation is made each 84 years (12x7=84). This was the maximum average lifespan in Europe in 2006.

26 Ιαν 2023 · The TTFL mechanism is the most classic and relatively conservative circadian clock oscillation mechanism, commonly found in eukaryotes. We have introduced the TTFL mechanism of the classical model organisms. However, the biological clock of prokaryotes is based on the PTO mechanism.
Two biological clock mechanisms have been discovered: the negative feedback loop of transcription–translation (TTFL) and the post-translational oscillation mechanism (PTO). The TTFL mechanism is the most classic and relatively conservative circadian clock oscillation mechanism, commonly found in eukaryotes.
