I had sessions with Asus and the device maker's support. No solution. The work with the agents did narrow down the possibilities. Finally I noticed that I had this setting in BIOS disabled:

Is there any useful technical information on via Thunderbolt via Device Manager -> Device Connections? I see .. one of the network adapter connected to the TB Doc it is linked to this Intel(R) USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.10 (Microsoft)?
26 Ιουλ 2023 · Asus confirmed that thunderbolt 4 is only for data transfer and the USB C is for power delivery. They also report that the laptop has a problem with the Thundebolt ports so it has the usb 4 driver but without a controller because of this in the chipset scheme.

26 Απρ 2022 · In windows 10, the thunderbolt controller shows up in device manager, tb control center works and both my tb4 hub and EGPU seems to work fine. My final advice, if you love windows 11 for some reason, keep an eye out if they fix this issue in 11, but until they do, run windows 10.
