3 Ιουλ 2018 · Little question this M I Tobias & Co. No.1016 is an authentic Tobias product. His early watches were signed in script and the serial number was on the top plate as opposed to the barrel bridge. Typical of Tobias at this time was to scratch the serial number inside the dust cap. The watch, I think, is in an original American case.

1 Οκτ 2024 · Like a twist on [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] and not a real name in its own right, which is obviously ridiculous and not true at all. It is out-there, but one of those names that feels familiar or “acceptable” even though it’s incredibly unusual.
21 Αυγ 2018 · I love the name [name_u]Toby[/name_u], but I’m not a huge fan of the original forms of the name, [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] and [name_m]Tobiah[/name_m]. Are there any other long names that might work with this nickname? I saw [name_f]October[/name_f] listed on the [name_u]Toby[/name_u] page, which I think is fabulous!
27 Μαΐ 2023 · If you've done any searching on Tobias watches, you probably already suspect that this is entirely Swiss and not made by any of the Tobias clan in Liverpool or anywhere else in the UK, and I can confirm this. The movement is very modest quality with a cylinder escapement, and the case may not test as exactly 18 carat.

24 Αυγ 2011 · Does anyone have a list of M.I. Tobias watch production dates by serial numbers? I have scoured the interwebs and can not find much. I have 8 Tobias watches but on 2 of them the date stamp on the cases is extremely hard to make out. One of them has a serial number just above 11,000 and the other just above 20,000.
