TVAR primarily supports the East County Animal Shelter (ECAS) in Dublin, CA to help owners locate their missing pets and to assist potential adopters select a pet to adopt. We have a variety of volunteer programs including a shelter program and four foster programs.

Small but nice facility, lots of great dogs, but unlike LA the average sized dog is less than 20 lbs. and the rotation is short for pets; my 2 years there I never saw a single pet left behind.
Valley Humane Society (VHS) has been saving the lives of dogs and cats in the Tri-Valley since 1987. Our primary service area covers Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon, and Danville, though pet adopters are welcome from any locale!
