so usually you can search a tumblr blog for posts containing a word (not a tag!) by just typing url.tumblr.com/search/word but i've noticed this doesn't work on all blogs? some blogs will give you no results even if there are definitely posts containing that word. i suspect it has something to do with the blog's theme but i was wondering if ...
The tumblr search function on the app isn't working anymore. I was looking for an old post on my blog about a book by an author named Isaac Azimov. I used to be able to write either "Isaac" or "Asimov" and it would pull up any post containing either of those search terms.
These search operators are only available in the main Tumblr search bar. They don’t work in the search bar in individual blogs. The search operators only work on posts created in 2017 or later.
