16 Απρ 2023 · The Cozumel ferry schedule depends on which company you use. Ultramar operates a ferry every 2 hours, with different schedules for even and odd days of the month. The earliest ferries to Cozumel depart from Playa del Carmen at 8 a.m. and the last ferry from Playa to Cozumel departs at 10 p.m.
The primary gateway between Cozumel and the mainland of the Yucatan Peninsula, including Cancun and the Riviera Maya, is the passenger ferry from Playa del Carmen. Thousands of tourists and locals every day take the 45 minute ride to or from Cozumel. It's very easy, and runs nearly every hour.
On the route sailing between Playa del Carmen and Cozumel there are as many as 18 departures each way, with ferries leaving every hour. Passengers will have a huge range of options if travelling between Cancún and Isla Mujeres, with services from the early hours of the morning until late at night.
