One of the few standalone music colleges among state universities in the United States, the University of Tennessee Natalie L. Haslam College of Music offers a broad and comprehensive music curriculum. Through its many specialized professional music concentrations, the College affords music students a wide variety of professional experiences.
ALL students who wish to major in any music degree or minor in music MUST apply to the College of Music in addition to applying to the University of Tennessee. You may submit your College of Music application and your University of Tennessee application in any order.

Haslam College of Music offers curricula leading to the Bachelor of Music degree with concentrations in music theory/composition, music education, sacred music (organ, piano, or voice), piano pedagogy, studio music and jazz, and applied music (brass, voice, piano, organ, strings, woodwind and percussion instruments).
We are proud to be the only College of Music in Tennessee and the Southeastern Conference, and one of the select few standalone music colleges at state universities nationwide.
