I recommend all friends and family use the 300/300 as that's more than enough for 99% of households. Unfortunately that was bumped up $10 and includes the Verizon router a couple months ago. IMO still not bad for $50.

You need someone that works for Verizon to give you a code when you open your wireless service to get the discount. The discount is not much but is permanent. I used Refer a friend code instead since its much bigger discount but for a year.
