The flag shall be flown at half-staff on Peace Officers Memorial Day, unless that day is also Armed Forces Day. As used in this subsection - (1) the term ''half-staff'' means the position of the flag when it is one-half the distance between the top and bottom of the staff;
Important Things to Remember. Traditional guidelines call for displaying the flag in public only from sunrise to sunset. However, the flag may be displayed at all times if it’s illuminated during darkness.

17 Μαΐ 2022 · The flag should be flown at half-mast on Memorial Day until noon, then raised. Flags should fly from sunrise to sunset but may be flown at night if properly illuminated. Fly the flag at half-mast during times of national mourning.
