Weedsport Speedway, formerly known as Cayuga County Fair Speedway, is a 3/8 mile oval dirt racetrack located on the Cayuga County Fairgrounds in Weedsport, New York. Auto racing. In the early 1950s Stanley Dudzinski carved a one-third mile oval into a berry patch to practice driving his race car.

26 Μαρ 2020 · History: Weedsport Speedway has a long and storied history in New York. The venue, built by Stan Dudzinski in a berry patch, opened for business for the first time on July 24, 1955. Originally a third-mile oval, the track became a three-eighths-mile oval later in the decade.
