An annual tradition for almost 50 years, the Sorghum Festival features traditional and regional arts, crafts, food, and music. Friday night is capped off with the annual Sorghum Bowl contest at Herdman Field in downtown West Liberty.

Sep 2023. We spent the weekend in West Liberty, KY to enjoy the Sorghum Festival held each year over the last full weekend in September. The Pork Loin sandwich with sorghum glaze was a big favorite. Live music all weekend from country, country/western, bluegrass, and rock 'n roll bands.
