18 Νοε 2006 · Here is a way to fix this so you can manipulate the PML driver from Services without having to use the registry and boot the machine each time. I am on WinXP Pro SP2 and have full administrator privileges, this worked for me.
22 Ιουλ 2011 · The Pml Driver HPZ12 is still operating and slows the system down. The MSConfig services file, the Pml driver is not checked, but the service is running. Need to know how to disable this service.
4 Αυγ 2015 · The service known as Net Driver HPZ12 belongs to the 32-bit HP CIO components or 32-bit HP BiDi channel developed by Hewlett-Packard. It is common to see this service running on computers on which Hewlett-Packard printers, scanners or copiers are installed.
Stopping and disabling the "Net Driver HPZ12" finally fixed the hang issue. Interestingly, there is also a different "Pml Driver HPZ12" service that I was able to leave running without any noticeable issues. This page now has over 1,300 page views, and is currently the most visited post on this blog!
15 Σεπ 2021 · Task Manager shows running Applications and/or processes, look in Device Manager to see installed printer drivers. HPZ12 seems to be an HP process, do you have any HP devices now or did you in the past ?
