For example, Google search says my puplic IP address is 2001:558:6033:c4:1dab:fa57:5447:4229 Facebook has me logged in from New Jersey but I live no where near there. This website gives me my IP that I remember is the correct one. When I'm on my laptop, facebook says I'm logged in from New Jersey and it gives the above mentioned IP.

Since then, I have noticed unusual activity associated with my IP address, including unexplained domain access on both my PC and mobile devices.
16 Μαΐ 2012 · I did this and problem persisted! Decided to check my public IP address and it was showing up as 80.239.242.111 (Poland) - I'm in UK! OK so now ipconfig/release etc. to no avail. Starting to panic now. Logged in to my route and IP address is as it should be in there - changed password just in case - did a factory reset.

It sounds to me like you have a static IP Address, if you had a dynamic IP Address then it is possible to change that IP Address, but if you have a static IP Address then the only way for you to change that IP Address is to make a request to your internet service provider and ask them to change the IP Address for you.

16 Ιαν 2022 · DNSBL lists are the only ones flagging my IP address. They include dnsbl.spfbi.net, dnsbl.sorbs.net and dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net. Got the following result of my inquiry: "This is the rDNS found: <pool-xxx-xx-xx-x.cmdnnj.fios.verizon.net> dynamic or domestic rDNS. This IP has been flagged because it is dynamic or by suspect to be domestic use only.
