With component you can play NTSC games on a hacked Wii but there isn't much point unless the game only has an NTSC version. PAL60 is 60Hz and the same resolution as NTSC. We're not in the 90s anymore.

9 Νοε 2024 · SYNDiCATE have just released an impressive new tool that is said to patch NTSC game images, allowing them to be played directly on PAL Wii units. The patcher offers the same functionality that the WiiKey modchip offers, but will of course work on any Wii unit that has been modified to allow the playback of backups.
4 Νοε 2024 · Just go into settings and force NTSC or PAL. 1. Open ISO with WiiScrubber and extract main.dol. 2. Open main.dol with Generic Wii Patcher. 3. Change the video mode with PAL-2-NTSC button. 4. Save main.dol (you can close Generic Wii Patcher) 5. Replace saved main.dol in ISO with WiiScrubber (now, you can close WiiScrubber)

6 Ιουλ 2022 · Do you need to connect an NTSC composite video source to a PAL device? How about the opposite, a PAL console, VHS player, etc to an NTSC TV or scaler? I just finished a livestream with Louis from Zez Retro, where we tested (among other things) just that!
Works with Freeloader (tested D2CKey, PAL 3.2E) or try GeckoOS/RF for System 3.3E and above (tested D2CKey, PAL 3.2E, GeckoRF 1.5). Must have your Wii system language set to English. Risk of stuffing up autoupdate launched.
