8 Μαρ 2010 · Now none of my USB ports work. I've uninstalled them and restarted the computer, I've turn on or enabled everything to do with plug and play devices. Under device manager all the USB ports are there and they are all working properly however nothing that I plug into them will work.
This is usually caused by a USB power issue. If there is not enough power to properly power the device then Windows brings this message up. It's hardly ever a driver issue. The key word here is "Malfunctioned" in the bubble. Either plug the device directly into the computer, or plug it in to a powered hub. Share.

I have Windows XP SP2 on an Intel motherboard with a P4 processor. All of its USB ports are malfunctioning. When I connect a speaker, mouse or anything through those USB ports, they are working fine. But as soon as I connect a USB drive (pen drive), it detects it for around half a minute.
