1 Απρ 2017 · Wine on the Lake 2017. Wine On The Lake is the greatest wine festival in the Great Lakes Region – and, it’s perfectly timed on April 1 to get out of the cold and prepare for spring/summer winery visits. Wine, food, gifts, entertainment and more all on Erie’s Bayfront.
The Roditis grape bequeaths its delicate characteristics, subtlety and discreetness to create a dry white wine with perfectly balanced acidity and alcohol. Lake N. Plastiras, which is responsible for the unique microclimate of the Messenicolas terroir, is the main reason behind this wine's.
The Cab Franc is a real success in this vintage, delivering ultraripe fruit that leans into flavors of figs, prunes and cherries. Aged 18 months in one-quarter new French oak, the wine has a lightly smoky, slightly chalky flavor as it trails away. — Paul Gregutt.

A blend of 60% Gewürztraminer and 40% Riesling, this offers lilac and baby powder aromas that carry to the palate. It offers fleshy peach and zippy Meyer lemon flavors. It's off-dry, with a slightly grainy, sugary finish. — Paul Gregutt.
