Operated in partnership with New York City Department of Education (DOE), our Young Adult Borough Centers (YABCs) are designed for older adolescents who have not graduated from high school and have challenges like caring for a child, and work schedules, which can hinder students from graduating.
Students may attend a YABC in two ways- as a full-time student, or as a shared instruction student. To be eligible for consideration as a full-time student in a YABC, students must be 18 years of age before the end of the current school year (June 30).
