16 Αυγ 2024 · FORK OIL AND VISCOSITY + FILL CAPACITIES - VIRAGO - [TIP] According to the Yamaha Factory Manual they say 10wt (Viscosity) or S.A.E. 10W30. Why spend big bucks on 10wt (Viscosity) fork oil when cheaper S.A.E. 10W30 will do the job. Besides as the oil warms it will firm up the suspension!

3 Μαΐ 2020 · Nothing wrong with the manual, it states the total capacity of the fork including the inner cartridge which is an approximate since it's usually slightly overfilled during re-assembly and the excess purged and, the outer fork tube which has a range of adjustment.
12 Μαρ 2015 · I found a forum post that it took 497 mL per tube. I had a one liter container so I split it, almost all, between the two. The level looked kind of high; if I compressed the fork to the bottom, the oil would come very nearly to the top, within a centimeter.
